Policies & Tips
The first consultation is free. Consultations last about 30 minutes and gives you the chance to meet us and for us to meet you and your pets prior to the first scheduled visits. We will review your information of your pet(s)/ home routine, take a tour, and test the keys at that time. If you are just looking around, we can do a Meet and Greet which we will last about 15 minutes. If you decide to use us there will be a $25 charge to come back out for a more information, a tour, and exchange of keys. Our staff operate as a team and we assign two care givers to each client. However, having a team makes us extremely reliable, so we back each other up. All team members are employees of Kings & Queens Pet Sitting and have received the exact same training for consistency. When you hire Kings & Queens Pet Sitting, you hire a team that will be there for you when you need us the most.
Vernon S.

The service was excellent and I would definitely recommend Kings & Queens Pet Sitting. They sent photos of the dogs while we were away via text and all was well when we returned home. The dogs were happy to see us return, but we could tell they were well taken care of during our trip.
Keys
2 keys must be provided at the time of the consultation. Please test both keys prior to the consultation. We prefer to keep the keys in our locked safe for future pet sitting visits. All keys are identified by a specific bar code that is unique to you in LeashTime (client management system). There is no charge if keys are kept in our lock box.
If you do not wish for us to keep your keys on file, they can be mailed or returned in person upon your return. There is a $10 fee (each way – pick up before pet sitting job and delivery after completion. Fee is waived for first return after consultation.) for those preferring this option.
If you use garage codes or any other electronic system to get into your home that is acceptable, however we still must have 2 sets of keys or you may leave a permanent key somewhere on your property as electronic systems sometimes fail.
Shared Visits
For the safety of your furry loved ones and home, no other person should be permitted in your home during the service period. The service period begins when you leave and ends when you return home. No other person is permitted to care for your pets during this service period. Failure to comply will result in a breach of contract (Due to insurance reasons). The only exception is if someone is currently living at the residence.
Pet Product Pick-Up
There is a $20 fee + price of purchase to pick up additional pet food or necessities that run out during the pet sitting job.
Pictures
During our visits, we may take cute pictures of your pets and send them to you or post them on our social media for everyone to see how adorable they are! These photos become the property of Kings & Queens Pet Sitting LLC and will not be distributed to anyone other than you for security reasons. Any photo taken of your pet will not contain any confidential information, such as, pet ID tag with info, family pictures in background, the outside of your home. Pictures are posted at random times and never during, or right after our visits.
Returning Home
Please call or text the office at 817-991-0110 when you get home from your time away. This is important for the well being of your pets. If we do not hear from you and the pet’s safety, health, or well being is in danger, we will attempt to reach you first. If we cannot confirm your safe arrival home, we will continue visits until we can confirm your arrival back home. Any additional visits will be charged to your account.
Inclement Weather
There are certain conditions where we may not be able to get to your house or service may be delayed. Inclement weather conditions are as follows: Tornado watch or warning issued for the area, flooding, hail, and ice. This will only go into effect if these alerts are publicly announced in our areas of service. If this ever happens we will notify you and you must have someone available close by or a neighbor that we can contact to check on your pets. This will be established at the consultation. You will be refunded for any trips that we are not able to complete. For walks, we do not walk your dogs in heavy rains or if there is lightning. In the summer we do not walk dogs in temperatures above 90 degrees.

Tips
- Please make sure all contact information prior to your time away is up to date. Sometimes emergency contacts change their phone numbers or you may wish to change emergency contacts for various reasons.
- Keep type of food constant for at least a couple weeks prior to your time away. Also, please make sure there is enough food on hand to make it through your time away. Exception is perishable food such as lettuce and crickets for reptiles.
- Please avoid elective surgeries and vet care for two weeks prior to your time away. Examples include vaccinations, spay/neuter, teeth cleaning, etc. If there is a reaction, we may not be there to see it and this could put your pet in a life threatening situation.
- Please let us know if you have changed vets.
- If you change your locks give me a call and I will be happy to come pick up a new set of keys.
